Took a months vacation this year to head home and see family and friends in Ireland. Also my moms 70th birthday was Aug 1st so got to be here for that.

We flew to NY on july 21st and spend 5 days there. Had a great time doing all the normal tourist things...Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island (very interesting place), The Met, Time Square etc.

Flew into Dublin on the 27th and hung out with family and friends for the first few days. Whole family went out to dinner for moms birthday on Aug 1st... great night.

Next day we headed off to Sligo in the west of Ireland for a few days camping. I'd forgotten how beautiful the West of Ireland is. Had a great time. Another 2 weeks to go so I'll probably add some more pics and updates...
